It\u2019s made from 100% super baby alpaca \u2013 the softest and finest alpaca you can imagine. This yarn is spun as a &#8220;cloud&#8221; around a thinner core, creating an ultra-soft and airy texture that even the most wool-sensitive people can wear.<\/p>\n<p>The quality is a \u201cfluffy\u201d yarn quality but does not tend to shed, as fluffy yarns often do. It is suitable for all kinds of clothing and accessories (except socks).<\/p>\n<p>It is sold in 50g skeins and has a yardage of 150m\/50g (= 300m\/100g). Due to the way this yarn is spun, it can be knitted on larger needles than what is typically used for a yarn with similar yardage. This also makes the yarn go a very long way.
