Sage Sweater KIT

Sage Sweater KIT contains yarn and knitting pattern.

• Small: contains approx. 440 g. Handdyed Fat Mohair (fits pattern sizes A+B+C+D)
• Large: contains approx. 540 g. Handdyed Fat Mohair (fits pattern size E)

The colors of the body and sleeves are optional, while we have made some color suggestions for the braid (see image):

• Braid A: Color 106 + 101
• Braid B: Color 126 + 219
• Braid C: Color 505 + 47
• Braid D: Color 250 + 258
• Braid E: Color 111 + 255
• Braid F: Color 96 + 83
• Braid G: Color 94 + 117

The pattern will be provided as a download link in your order confirmation, and will not be sent in a hard copy.

The sweater is worked from the top down, first the upper part of the front piece with the braid is worked, then the upper part of the back piece with the braid. Below the armholes, the work is joined and the body is worked in the round. Finally, a rib edge is worked. Stitches are then picked up for the sleeves, and the sleeves are worked in the round in fisherman’s rib (brioche worked into the stitch below). The sleeves are finished with an i-cord edge.

Sizes: A (B) C (D) E – Chest circumference: 100 (110) 120 (130) 140 cm – Length: 50 (52) 54 (54) 56 cm

Gauge: 12 stitches x 15 rows in stockinette = 10 x 10 cm

Recommended needles: Circular needle 8 mm (or the size needed to obtain gauge) + Circular/dpn needles 7 mm for i-cord edge on the sleeves
