Cotton Color Block is a classic raglan sweater knitted in Handdyed Big Cotton Bouclé, which is the softest cotton yarn imaginable. The yarn has a wavy texture that gives the sweater a wonderful structure.
The sweater begins at the neckline, where you first knit back and forth with increases to shape the neckline while simultaneously working raglan increases. Once the neckline has been shaped, the work is joined and knitted in the round in stockinette stitch with raglan increases until the bottom of the armhole, where the work is divided into body and sleeves. The body is worked straight down in stockinette stitch with a few increases at each side for a slight A-line shape (the increases can easily be omitted). The body is finished with a rib edge. The sleeves are worked in stockinette stitch with decreases on the underside and are also finished with a rib edge. A rib edge is also worked at the neckline.
Gauge: 12 stitches x 19 rows in stockinette = 10 x 10 cm
