Undyed Brushed Alpaca 400 is super soft and fluffy and is made of 100% baby suri alpaca, it has a yardage of 400 metres/100g
The suri alpaca is more rare and only makes up approx. 5% of the alpaca population. The hair from the suri alpaca is longer and shinier. Baby suri alpaca refers to wool from the very first shearing of the alpaca, which is the absolute finest and softest. In this quality, the alpaca is brushed, creating a light and airy yarn with a fuzzy appearance. The yarn is incredibly soft and a true pleasure to knit with.
